The software package OmniWin CADNest is an easily used programme for the generation of nesting plans for thermal cutting with the oxygen and plasma processes on cnc machines.
OmniWin CADNest is easily learnt and is characterised by a clear operator interface.
It unites under one interface:

• OmniCAD, a powerful CAD system especially conceived for the design of parts for thermal cutting,
• OmniMacro, a programme for the generation of parts with the aid of parameterised macros, and
• OmniCAD Nest, a programme for the manual on-screen nesting of parts onto a plate.

The menus in OmniWin CADNest mostly apply for part design and for nesting.
This means many functions can be used both for the part design and for nesting.
OmniCAD permits parts in DXF and DWG format from AutoCAD and in IGES format to be imported,, i.e. read in and exported or saved in the DXG or DWG format.
Thus OmniCAD allows the importation of parts which have already been created with the help of another CAD system and have been stored in DXF Format, and especially also parts which are present in AutoCAD DWG drawing format. The AutoCAD compatibility is ensured up to the current version 2007, that means you can import DWG- and DXF-files created by AutoCAD up to the version 2007.
