SUM3D AMM

MM, Advanced Multiaxis Machining module, empowers SUM3D performance, providing new and multiple working strategies from 3 to 5 axis. Those potentialities allow effective problem-solving in programming multifunctional or robot 5 axis machines. The aim is to reduce machining time for the phases of roughing, semifinishing, re-machining and finishing and to obtain a finished piece while avoiding post machining operations of re-positioning or re-finishing by means of other technologies (for example with electrodes).

SUM3D

SUM3D is really easy and quick to learn and this is the characteristic that makes it possible to produce a mould after only a few hours of training, thanks to a very simple structure of commands. The basic requirements to use the software are the same as those needed to work on CNC machines: the operator is "guided" in the choice of different machining options, from tool definition to toolpath creation. To manage the shop floor, nowadays the mouldmaker needs the right tools that can be used quickly and easily by all personnel working with CNC and CAD/CAM systems. Additionally, the CAM has the flexibility to be used beside the machine: straight on the CN, or on a dedicated working station next to the CNC.
