Features of the latest version of GCAD 19

The latest major update to 4M-KENAK's design department, marking the next generation of BIM in the energy sector.

The latest version of GCAD has been redesigned with state-of-the-art ODA Teigha technology and with 64-bit performance, delivering unimaginable display performance (display engine), open/save and read/write times directly to DWG (or IFC2x3) format and at all levels. Among the many new features, the following are indicative:

New ribbon menu (or classic) interface with enhanced visual styles, status bar, toolbars, annotation menu, and a revamped properties panel that intelligently combines with filter and quick select commands.

Innovative BIM modeling with intelligent control of all BIM objects from the properties panel, universal use of handles for BIM objects, intelligent building and level manager (xref), absolute connectivity with all BIM packages (e.g. Revit, ArchiCAD, etc.)).

Special functions for building shell structural elements, such as control of walls of any shape and their "elevation" with a roof or surface boundary, corner windows, advanced roof control, ability to define spaces with different wall heights. or spaces spanning more than one floor, graphical representation of surfaces exported to Energy Study and Inspection (GCAD).

New CAD engine with all the new features of the latest version of 4MCAD. 19 of the most powerful design engines ever built into GCAD, with performance comparable to the competition and 100% compatibility with every DWG file (from the oldest versions to the 2019 DWG format).
