How Install Dongle Emulator for Windows 7, Vista, 10 x64 bit.

On this page, we will introduce you to the instructions for installing the Dongle Emulator on Windows 10 64-bit.

ATTENTION!!! Please read the instructions carefully!!!
Believe us, we spent a lot of time to write specific instructions on the type step by step, to make it easier for you and for us to work on finding solutions to your problems.

We will use Windows 10 x64 bit as an example.

Let's look at the example of Emulators for two dongles: WIBU-BOX for USB Device with dongle drivers and Rockey4ND for USB HID Driverless Device.

 

Step I - TEST Mode

1. Before installing the emulator, you need to make sure whether you need to install the original dongle drivers.

Each of our emulator packages comes with detailed instructions indicating whether you need to install the dongle drivers. If you do, you'll find a link to the original drivers in the instructions. Download them, install them, and restart your computer.

2. UnZIP Emulator package to "C:\" disk

3. Any 64-bit system must be switched to "TEST MODE" before installing the emulator. More about "TEST MODE" you can read in FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) Section "All about TEST MODE (only for Windows x64)"

Select "TESTmode.cmd" file, press on ths file right mouse button and select "Run as Administrator".

The system will ask you to confirm running the file as Administrator, select YES.

ATTENTION!!! You need to check the operating system's reaction!!!

 

If you see that the system has written: "The operation complited successfully." then this means the operation was successful, let's move on to the next step. 
If the operation failed, you need to disable "Secure Boot" in your computer's BIOS.
Use earch Google [How to disable Secure Boot on BIOS], because this procedure is different on different BIOS manufacturers.

After disable "Secure Boot" and start PC, do execute script TESTmode_ON.cmd again for enable TEST MODE.

4. Restart (Reboot) your Computer.
After restarting the operating system, you should see a watermark about the TEST MODE in the lower right corner.

Step II - Install Test certificate and sign Emulator Driver

1. Go to "sign_tool", select "Install_Test_Sert.cmd" file, press on him right mouse button and select "Run as Administrator"




2. Sign Emulator Driver. Select "sign_driver.cmd" file, press on him right mouse button and select "Run as Administrator".

ATTENTION!!! You need to check the operating system's reaction!!!
Check that one driver is signed and verified!!!
Otherwise, you need to stop further installation of the emulator.





 

Step III - Install Emulator.

1. Go to "!Emulator" folder. Select "Install.cmd" file, press right mouse button and select "Run as Administrator".

The system will ask you to confirm running the file as Administrator, select YES.

The system will display another warning, select "Install this driver Software anyway".

ATTENTION!!! You need to check the operating system's reaction!!!

If you see "Drivers updated successfully" then Emulator installed.

 

To check if the Dongle Emulator is installed correctly, launch Device Manager.




In our example, after installing the Emulator for USB Device WIBU-BOX Dongle you found:

• Virtual Wibu-BOX Key - It is Emulator driver
• WIBU-BOX/U - Emulated Dongle

For HID Driverless Device Rockey4ND Dongle you found:

• RK4ND virtual key - It is Emulator driver
• HID-compliant device - Emulated Dongle
